Sitting in your power spiritually.

If you are interested in developing your psychic abilities, you may have heard of the term “sitting in power”. But what does it mean and how can you practice it?

Sitting in power is a form of meditation that helps you to connect with your higher self, your spirit guides, and the source of all energy. It is a way of raising your vibration and expanding your awareness. Sitting in power can also enhance your intuition, your healing abilities, and your manifestation skills.

Sitting in power is not difficult to do, in fact it is one of my personal favourites, it does require some discipline and consistency.

Here are some steps to help you get started:

  1. Find a quiet and comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed. You can sit on a chair, on the floor, or on a cushion. Make sure your spine is straight and your body is relaxed.
  2. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Focus on your breathing and let go of any thoughts or worries that may distract you.
  3. Imagine that there is a ball of light at the centre of your chest, near your heart. This is your personal power centre, also known as the solar plexus chakra. Feel the warmth and brightness of this light.
  4. Now imagine that there is another ball of light above your head, at the crown of your skull. This is your connection to the divine, also known as the crown chakra. Feel the peace and bliss of this light.
  5. Slowly start to draw the light from above into your body, through the top of your head. As you do this, feel the light filling up every cell of your being, from your head to your toes. You may feel tingling sensations, warmth, or vibrations as the light flows through you.
  6. At the same time, start to draw the light from within outwards, through your heart centre. As you do this, feel the light radiating from you in all directions, like a sun. You may feel joy, love, or gratitude as the light shines from you.
  7. Continue to breathe deeply and evenly as you balance the flow of light in and out of your body. You are now sitting in power, connected to both yourself and the source of all creation.
  8. Stay in this state for as long as you feel comfortable, anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour or more. You may receive insights, messages, or visions from your higher self or your spirit guides during this time. Pay attention to any impressions or feelings that come to you.
  9. When you are ready to end the session, gently bring your awareness back to your physical body and surroundings. Thank yourself and any beings that may have assisted you for this experience. Open your eyes and stretch your limbs.
  10. Write down any insights or experiences that you had during the session in a journal or notebook. This will help you to remember them and integrate them into your life.

 

Sitting in power is a powerful practice that can help you to grow spiritually and psychically. It can also bring you more joy, peace, and fulfilment in your life. Try to do it regularly, at least once a week, and see what changes it brings to you.
