Reiki 1 & 2 Training
Shoden or Reiki 1 is the first step on your Reiki journey, the emphasis of the healing and clearing is on you, with the bonus of treating your family & friends. It is a wonderful introduction to healing and is beneficial to all those wanting to begin or progress on their spiritual path.
Okuden or Reiki 2 is the next step, it will expand your knowledge and ability to treat people on a professional level and understand the hidden secrets of Usui Reiki.
This programme will lead you to practitioner level, Reiki works well as a standalone treatment, or when combined with another complementary therapy.
On successful completion of this training programme, you will be qualified to use Reiki on yourself, friends as well as practice professionally,
You will have the opportunity to grow spiritually and meet new friends who are aligned with you.

What happens in The Reiki Academy?
- You will be attuned to Reiki one and Reiki two
- You will meet weekly (for 8 weeks) on Zoom for your training and attunements.
- You will receive 4 Shoden attunements and you will receive 2 Okuden attunements.
- You will own a copy of your Reiki Lineage.
- You will learn to send Reiki over distance.
- You will have full access to the Reiki training academy.
- Learn basic skills to enable you to set up your own Reiki practice.
- You will receive Shoden and Okuden certificates electronically on successful completion of your training and assessments

F.A.Q.
Are courses insurable?
Yes, all of Joanna Kelsall Reiki Training courses are insurable. Please check with your existing insurer, Jo is always happy to discuss insurance options with you during your training. Please be aware that Jo can NOT advise you on best insurance companies for your needs.
How do I know if you are the right teacher for me?
You can book a free 20-minute discovery call with Jo which will enable you to ask any questions. Jo will always encourage you can also book a reiki treatment with if you wish to experience her Reiki Energy before booking your training. Every Reiki Master Teacher will have a different energy vibration – to get the best possible training experience it is important that you go with the Master who you are drawn to, rather than the cost. There is always a reason you pick the trainer that you do, and Reiki will always find you at exactly the right time. “When the student is ready, the Master will appear”.
Do I have to complete all levels of Reiki training with you?
Absolutely not. Some of Jo’s students complete their Reiki journey with Jo while others complete one or two levels. If you wish to train with Jo from level two and above, Jo will ask for proof of previous training before you register for training. She may also ask for case studies depending on the level of training that you wish to complete. You are welcome to book a free 20-minute discovery call with Jo before making your decision, you might also wish to book a treatment with her if you wish to experience her energy.
Can I use my training professionally?
Yes, you can.
The emphasis for Reiki level one is on yourself, friends and family, Reiki level two and above are classed as practitioner / teacher level. All courses are accredited by IPHM and are insurable. Please check with your current insurer, or search online for your best option. Jo will always discuss insurance options during your training although she can NOT advise.
Can I take a refresher course?
Yes of course. Although once you have Reiki it will never leave you, sometimes students request a top up especially if they haven’t practiced Reiki for a while. If you haven’t previously trained with Jo, she will still accept you. You will need to provide proof of training and depending on the level you may need to provide case studies.
